And that's an excellent example. I can no longer keep track of how many times I've talked about using a mouse for "constrained movement," even when it's in "full regular" mode. You cannot pull an item off of the taskbar. The only thing you can do is drag it left/right in the ordering if you left click and hold on that quick launch icon. And even if you can't see what you're doing, it still tends to be faster with drag and drop (horizontal only) in the taskbar than it is to delete multiple items and re-add them to get the arrangement you want.
