First and foremost, thank you very much for posing this question here in the Chat Subgroup, which is where it belongs as the question regards Zotero.

That being said, prior to my starting relatively strict enforcement on "NVDA Only" questions in the main group, there were a number of Zotero topics in the last several years.  I suggest you use the instructions, Searching a Groups.io Topics Page/Archive
, and do a search of the main NVDA group archive, using the Tools button with the Collapse Topics checkbox to make reviewing the results easier.  You might also consider doing the same on the two major JAWS groups, as this is likely to have come up there and advice about Zotero is almost certain to be screen-reader agnostic.
