What follows is not meant to discourage you in any way, but I do think it's important to know.
Brave applies some pretty stringent security and blocking algorithms behind the scenes. In the vast majority of cases this is a huge advantage and the end user has no issue with various websites and using them. However, I have observed that certain, and I do mean certain, banking websites and credit card websites do not "play well" with Brave and the usual indication of this is you end up in a "login loop" as I call it where you just can't seem to log in to the site and it keeps asking for your username and password.
If/when you encounter such using Brave, the only solution I've ever found is using a different web browser for those specific sites. My partner's bank, which is a local bank, has a website that simply will not work under Brave.
Knowing this in advance can save a lot of frustration and if/when it happens you'll know that you need to use a different browser rather than bashing your head against the wall trying to figure out what's wrong. Nothing's wrong that you did and nothing's wrong that you can fix.
