The number of tutorials on using Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Acrobat Reader on the PC platform with accessibility software, screen readers in particular, is myriad. There's no reason for me to reinvent the wheel here. A web search on either one of those two programs along with the name of the screen reader you wish to use with it will turn up days worth of reading. I'd expect the same thing for Adobe Scan, but to a lesser extent, at least when it comes to the PC platform. Web searching on the app names along with iOS in the case of an iPhone or Andriod in the case of Android phones coupled with either "Talkback" or "Android Accessibility Suite" should turn up what's available regarding the mobile apps for the specified platform. -- Brian - Windows 10, 64-Bit, Version 21H1, Build 19043 You are not entitled to your opinion. While I understand "the itch," and have absolutely nothing against Asus laptops, were I you, I'd wait if you're happy with your current computer and Windows 10. It is almost certain that a number of features that are being introduced under Windows 11 will be back ported to Windows 10, much like the telemetry from Windows 10 was back ported to Windows 8.1 and 7. With the current shortage in computer chips, prices are higher than they have been in the past, and almost certainly higher than they will be for the same class of equipment once the pandemic is over. If you feel you really, really want or need a new machine now, or soon, that's a different story. And that involves jettisoning a lot of things that were considered "standard" for years. The number of USB ports is shrinking, many don't have an HDMI port, optical CD/DVD drives have almost vanished from anything other than business class laptops, and they are disappearing even from those. One of the reasons I'm clinging to the laptop I have is because it has a CD/DVD drive. I still pick up CDs at thrift shops frequently that I want to digitize into my MP3 library. You just can't do that without an optical drive, and having to hook up an internal one every time you want to do so makes the process much more cumbersome than just "popping open the optical drive tray." I believe there are very cheap sound cards that are like adapters that you
can plug into a USB port and on the other end, plug in headphones or anything
with the compatible plug, I expect a one-eigth inch plug.
I think its absurd not to offer a standard analog
jack. But I believe there is an easy way around the problem.

I’m considering it as my current Dell Latitude laptop is fabulous but can’t officially run Windows 11 and I’d like the option to install that OS. This laptop seems to check all of the boxes I really want. It doesn’t have an ethernet port which I’m really spoiled by with my current laptop but an inexpensive hub would surely take care of that. The reviews for this Asus are generally favorable. Reviewers love the OLED screen which as a blind person doesn’t matter to me. I’d prefer something a tad smaller but so far I haven’t found any laptops with these specs for the price.
