I did the research on duckduckgo and there was an article by microsoft. It could be misinformation so I’ll just wait and see what happens.

Here is the Microsoft support page for it. It is just Outlook, TBH. Works fine with Gmail. The only glitchiness is the typical issues Outlook has --irrespective of using Gmail or 365 accounts.

P.S. If One Outlook/Project Monarch does eventually supplant the Mail App under Windows 10 and 11, you can also be reasonably certain that part of that transition will be having the installer for One

I installed the update yesterday on another computer and it did not trigger.

Not sure, just allowed it through and reported my detection to goldwave support who got back, and I just sent me my detected report then allowed it so it will be in its allow list.
