system isn't active anymore, so it's not that I'm entering the wrong

I have heard from others on these lists that Qread is no longer being supported by its developer. I bought it in early 2017 I think and I can't recall if I ever installed it on

I did a Google search for 24 carachter computer ID. Every relevant result specified a 16 carachter ID.
Maybe this will help. Just as JAWS does, perhaps you will see a code in the about dialog.

convert downloads from Bookshare into text files. QRead can open a
Bookshare zip file once Bookshare credentials have been supplied,

If you type ipconfig /all in command prompt, you should be able to get this from the "Physical address" line, but it is only
