It still does. You usually have to issue the command twice or, I believe holding the Windows key and typing m twice should move you there.

When you ask about setting up the desktop, do you mean placing icons on it from programs? There is also a way to tell a small number of icons such as this computer and control panel to show or not

Yes, I remember those days too. This is the time for senility to kick in so we don't remember those good old days!
Congratulations on your anniversary.

Well on this day 53 years ago I married my wonderful wife. I remember we had a budget of $10 per week for groceries.
This morning to celebrate we went to a local donut shop and spent $12 for six

I solved the problem. I hadn't thought of rebooting but that is one of the first things to try when odd problems occur.

Re: A Narrator problem
I tried it both ways to be sure. I wouldn't be surprised if it is an anomaly on my machine. I wanted to check just in case what I expect might be wrong, as unlikely as that is.

Hi Gene
Don’t know much about Narrator but I did a quick test and Narrator+DownArrow works if you are in scan mode, which I assume is the equivalent of Browse mode in NVDA. Narrator+Spacebar
