using rubber stamp for signature
Don H
Just met a person who uses a rubber stamp to place their signature on checks and other things. Do a lot of blind people use this method of signing their name on such things? Where would you get such a rubber stamp?
Thanks |

I don't. I use my hand as a guide and I sign. I used to have a rubber stamp, made for me by, I really don't know who but I lost it.

There are scads of companies that will create custom rubber stamps, and that includes signature stamps.

Hi, Sarah,
I also use my hand as a guide and sign. I never did use a rubber stamp for my signature.

The serious problem with a rubber stamp is that if you lose it,
someone else will have access to your legal signature. That should
be very carefully considered when deciding whether to get one.

your legal signature.- Kinda. There are only a certain number of instances where a rubber stamped signature will be accepted rather than one produced by pen. A very great many signature stamps also include a square frame around the signature, which immediately identifies it as a stamped signature. You are correct, and not just about these stamps, that if you don't have physical security over the thing then any other form of security is pretty much gone, too. -- Brian - Windows 10, 64-Bit, Version 21H2, Build 19044 Under certain circumstances, profanity provides a relief denied even to prayer. ~ Mark Twain |

Never knew this. But you can have words, my dad has a bugger stamp forgot the context. It started when a receptionist at hhis work mentioned when something went nuts he could use his fuck it stamp. Can't imagine why you would do that except to piss your boss off thoughh.
