importing bookmarks into brave

Mary Otten

I have not yet downloaded the Brave browser, but I intend to. However, I have a load of bookmarks in firefox, some of which were imported from other browsers, specifically from Safari IOS and there might be some from the old IE. Can't remember. I wonder if it is possible to import that lot into Brave. I'd really not like to have to recreate all my bookmarks, folders etc. I really LOVE firefox bookmark search; its so easy, but there are times when FF doesn't get the job done. I've used Chrome but dislike it because google ....

The installer for Brave, like almost all other web browser installers these days, will also ask you if you wish to import bookmarks as you go through the install process and from which of your installed web browsers (I think you can only pick one of them) you wish to import them.

If you choose to import and choose Firefox, the job will already be done when Brave has completed installing.

Thanks, Brian. Sounds straight forward enough. I don't  recall FF asking for that during the installation, but its been a while.
