third party voices with windows 1core voices

I have all the 1core voices and the code factory voices.

When I buy voices though I like the idea of paying x for a pack of voices.

Now for me thats english and all the dialects they can support.

I don't need other languages but if they are included thats fine to.

The code factory voices are not the same as the old jaws voices but they at least work on 64 bit and don't need the crazy amount of hacking about with control panel extentions to get them to work.

In win10 this is still possible but in 11 its probably not as easy and going forward its probably better to get away from 32 bit if at all possible anyway.

The only other voices I had were from inoetics.

I killed them because inoetics went out of business and even if I had the reg codes I couldn't reregister them again.

Pluss they didn't meet my needs.

The acapella infovox 4 was nice but I couldn't justify the price for the companion usb drive, postage, etc.

I could justify the 120 dollars for nvda but what I really want are sapi voices in sapi 5.1 or sapi6 running on the 64 and 32 bit systems but 64 probably fine enough.

I then looked at neospeech.

Now maxiaids does have that if I well decide to get the voices they have which are 2 kate and paul on cd and for what they charge I don't know if thats a good price or not but they do have them.

They are probably not but pricing with readspeaker the indevidual voices just for me its over 400 bucks for the english dialects and really all I want is those.

The atnt voices I don't know but not seen any packs.

I have orpheus, vocaliser and eloquence.

Eloquence is good for 8bit games and old text adventures but really doesn't fit much else.

The 16 bit converted eloquence sounds just wrong and the 8bit while retro is worse than espeak actually is.

I'd like a keynote gold but who knows if thats just my retroness coming out.

What I'd really like is another voice pack of a price of 60 to 100 dollars but less than 200 with a lot of voices which are stable and working.

Now granted with the 1core, microsoft vocaliser, orpheus and eloquence voice engines I probably have enough voices but I am an utter horder and geek when it comes to this.

And since voices for me are a kin to getting updated graphics packages for the sighted I would like more choice.

Its all got very complicated of late as different companies have bought out others resulting in some being available free, others only via paid for packages and yet others seemingly still not available.
I'd rather like the one used in Microsoft Edge, but although there are Microsoft voices similar to it, the accuracy and intonation of them are not anywhere near as good to my ears.

There is no connection between third party voices and One Core Voices.
SAPI is a way in which synthesizers communicate with Windows. Any
synthesizer can have a SAPI version if a developer creates one. One
Core voices have SAPI versions.

Eloquence has a SAPI5 version you can buy. There is a demo if you want
to try it.

Others very likely have information about where to get the demo and the
voice so I'll let them discuss that.

I'm not sure about Vocalizer voices.
