covid
Don H
Well Last week I reported that my wife and I finally caught covid. We started out with only a bad cough for one night. The next day we went to the doctor and she prescribed the anti virus pills along with two different antibiotics. The scough went away immediately after starting the meds. So the one day cough was the only symptom for us. We both had also had all the covid shots including the boosters.
The home test is what we used to detect the positive covid. Strange iss that that same home test can still test positive 90 days after infection which means to me the test is useless after the first positive test. Doctor says we are no longer contageous after 10 days however. The other thing we did is wear masks while at home to prevent my dog from getting the disease, so far dog is healthy. This is not medical advise just my experience with getting covid. |

So far, your experience and the experience of myself and my partner with the immediate term effects of a Covid infection if you're fully vaccinated is the same.
We were both vaccinated with all the latest vaccines available through last spring when we both got Covid. It was far less severe than a really nasty cold we'd had before Covid (and we tested, and that cold wasn't Covid) or a really nasty bug we had last fall a couple of months later. We both bounced back from the Covid in a matter of days and got the latest booster when it came out. So far, knock wood, it appears that Covid is mutating such that it is far more contagious and far less virulent, which is a good survival strategy for the virus and those who happen to catch it (and are vaccinated to minimize its effects). -- Brian - Virginia, USA - Windows 11 Pro, 64-Bit, Version 22H2, Build 22621; Office 2016, Version 16.0.15726.20188, 32-bit; Android 12 (MIUI 13) Let me hasten to add that I *do* like cologne. I just much prefer it as a subtle hint instead of an aromachete. ~ Clay Colwell |

In my case I have had covid 3 times, and all 3 times I was knocked flat on my, well, bum. I’m vaccinated btw. And my taste and smell did not fully return until maybe January of this year, and I got it last in august 2022. I did getr the variant though that escapes the vaccines.
