Grammarly accessibility

Hy everyone,
I heard that we can use grammarly web editor with nvda. I have tried it out. However, I cannot correct my spelling and grammar errors. If I press f6, I get a list of suggestions. Note, this suggestion is not from a browser. They are suggested by grammarly. If I press enter or space on any suggestion, nvda announces the suggested word inserted. However, if I check my file, I do not find any change. So, can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

If you search this archive, you will find several topics on Grammarly all of which indicate it is entirely inaccessible, and a couple of them are very recent.

There have also been many threads in the main group about Grammarly and its (in)accessibility with NVDA (or any screen reader).  I also believe it's been discussed in the past on the Windows Access with Screen Readers group and both JAWS groups.  My recollection is that it's consistently declared to be inaccessible.

Thank you. It is very pathetic for me. I am a Content Writer. I have to write content grammar and spelling error free. I use google docs but it is not as perfect as grammarly to correct errors. Often, clients ask for grammarly score. Now, what can I do?

If the client insists on a Grammarly score, and you know you cannot access it, they should be told this.  There are other alternatives, and those have been discussed previously in the topics where the inaccessibility of Grammarly has been noted.

Please search the Chat and Main NVDA groups for additional details.

Yes you can add your voice to the growing list of disgruntled people, but in the end if they choose to continue and ignore accessibility, then there really is nothing you can do unless there is some law they could fall foul of, but this normally only kicks in for software supplied to government bodies.
