Slight Difference in ESpeak With 2022.4 Beta 1 Compared to Earlier Versions

Hi. I sometimes still use ESpeak, U.S. dialect, Male 3 variant. I don’t know if it’s just me but it seems like the treble on the voice is a bit softer with 2022.4 beta 1 compared to earlier versions of NVDA. The letter S just seems a bit softer or perhaps the voice is not quite as crisp. It’s very subtle but I still noticed it right away. As my hearing seems to favor higher frequency sound I slightly prefer the previous version’s voice although the change isn’t bad enough that I would stop using ESpeak. Do other ESpeak users notice any slight differences with this new beta?
