The share option lets you share a folder with another person.
Dropbox send them an invitation, and when they accept you both are good to
go.

I think you put this in the wrong thread, should be in the dropbox one. Yes,
I do what you do in the links. It depends on what you are doing re the 0 and
1 of course.

I don't know what you will see in the public links folder. you can
experiment. To avoid any problems of context, move to a file not in the
public links folder. Open the context menu.
Find the item that says somethin like copy link.
Press enter.
The link is now copied to the clipboard.
I don't know about sharing files using e-mail options in the desktop client.

I simply write an e-mail using my e-mail program and paste the link in.
Don't forget to change the 0 to a 1 at the end of the link before sending
the message.

OK so its installed and the desktop program works OK, but on the context
menu there is a share option with two sub options, one of which is obviously
the one that you are supposed to put the emails in of people wyou wish to
send the link to. It says enter names or email addresses, but seems to
disappear if you type. Am I missing something? Is it aiming at an email app
other than my default one perhaps?
Has anyone got this to work?
