I do not object if you wish to place them on a webpage, but they are already public links in my Google Drive and I have no intention of taking them down in the foreseeable future. You can just use the links as is on any webpage (or create new click-through text for the titles if you so choose) and activating them will download the document "clicked on." There's no point in "reinventing the wheel" as far as public storage goes.
