Please send requests for matters such as closing threads to the owner's address.
Asking that a thread be stopped is a narration message and list members shouldn't send narrator messages to the list, taking over a function of a narrator.
If the thread turns into a debate, which appears to be turning into a long discussion, I'll ask that the thread be stopped. At this time, it isn't a very active thread and I wouldn't rule out the possibility that useful information about open source programs might not be presented by a list member.
