Hi Robert

My understanding is that the Windows Power Shell is an upgraded and much improved version of the command prompt that has existed in Windows for at least the past 20 years.

In fairness to the Power Shell, it does allow you to navigate the file system using Linux commands but does not allow you to use specific Linux tools as far as I know.
