When I used window eyes it installed java access bridge. Do you know if that app works globally regardless of what screen reader I use? Thanks for any help.

It does and I seem to recall you need both the 32 bit and 64 bits. Luckily
I've not delved in that on this machine, but I think its part of the java
download but is not activated by default. There is a command I seem to
recall.
Sadly from my experience much Java coded stuff seems to have been made with
no attention to using the accessible api in Java so its often all very
pointless and disappointing on real world apps.
