Re: microsoft Mark

Hi,

I have asked about this a while back and was told that at this time Mark is not available using NVDA

I can use David and Zera which also are MS voices but not Mark.

Hate to burst your buble but this is how it currently stands.

Have you used other Microsoft voices with NVDA?  I don't have Windows 10 but as I understand it, if you look in the synthesizers list, you should see something that is for the microsoft voices.  Whatever it is, it won't be sapi 4 or 5.
Here is the procedure:
issue the command NVDA key control s.
Then look up and down the list.
Once you find that item in the list, press enter.
Then issue the command control NVDA key v for the voices dialog.  Up and down arrow through the list to see what voices are there.  When you get to the voice you want to use, press enter.

Hi, everyone,

When I was working with narrator, I found a voice I didn’t know I had. It was the Microsoft Mark voice. Is there a way to get it to work with NVDA?

Thanks in advance.

Rosemarie
