Hi Jene,
I can read it in other ways. I can read it just fine in Window Eyes. Because of my email others have now confirmed they can read it in thunderbird. I don’t want to change to text email because then links and other formatting become broken when we do that. Meaning it stripps photos etc. if you forward those emails to others you have completely destroyed the look/feel of a message.
My main goal is to provide duplicatable results that might help improve NVDA’s ability to deal with such content.

Yes. Try reading it in other ways. I don't use Outlook but as I recall, there is an option to read the message in a browser. You may also be reading mail as html. If you change to read messages in plain text, you may be able to read it. I don't know if this is still the case, but for quite some time, some html messages weren't read correctly in Outlook for technical reasons.
