Hi Gene,

 

When I go to the what’s new I get:

 

What's New in NVDA

2017.2

 

I think that means it’s since the latest release not the changes in the Master Branch. I am interested in the several master updates I have upgraded to since the main 17.2 release.


Second: So the auto-update will update from a master branch version to the latest release?

Hi Sam

 

if you are using a master it will alert you of the updates. here i only do it once a week just to see what might of been done for that week.

 

have a look under the help/ whats new section .

 

I like running the masters as they are stable and what goes into them will come out in the next release of nvda.
