If you have the version 4.1-dev that uses Yandex translator

1. you need to create an account by going to:

https://tech.yandex.com/translate/

And click on "Get a free API key".

2. Explore the folder of the user settings of NVDA and go on addons\instantTranslate\globalPlugins\instantTranslate

Now open the file translator.py with notepad++ or notepad;

3. Find the word "key".

4. replace the key contained on the line between the character "=" and "&" with your key you just obtained after the registration of the Yandex account.

5. save and restart nvda.

 

Note: do not give anyone your kkey.

I use Instant translate add-on as you tell me but dont to acess for results of the translations. This is my problem.

The Instant Translate add-on can be found on the Add-ons page here: https://addons.nvda-project.org/addons/instantTranslate.en.html

Once you have installed it, there is an extra item "Instant Translate" in the NVDA Preferences menu (Press NVDA+N then P to access), this lets you setup the desired languages to translate to and from.

Once you're setup, you can use it by selecting text or copying text to the clipboard, then:

"All following commands must be pressed after modifier key "NVDA+Shift+t":

• T: Translate selected text,
• Shift+t: translate text from the Clipboard,
• S: swap source and target languages,
• A: announce current configuration,
• C: copy last result to clipboard,
• I: identify the language of selected text,
• H: announces all available commands to user."

Note, I copied that out of the information on the page I linked to, read through the whole page to get a full idea of all the features and how to use it.
