Remote Add-on Sounds

Hi All,
Is it possible to eliminate the Remote Addon sounds when connecting/disconnecting? I ask this because the computer to which I’m connecting is a broadcasting one, and the connect/disconnect sounds play over the air. I have no sounds selected in the Windows Control Panel but this doesn’t help.
