Re: NVDA and Chrome downloading

Hi,

Yes there is!

In Google Chrome, press CTRL+J to open the favorites window. Tab to where it says cansel, and that is where you can check on how much time there is for the download and that. When it is done, it will say go to folder. If you press enter on that, you will be taken right to the download in the folder it was downloaded to. So, CTRL+J is the key. Now to read the progress and that, with NVDA, just use your text reading commands for the review cursor. With JAWS, turn on the touch cursor in JAWS, and left and right arrow through how fast it is downloading, how much time there is left, and so on.

Subject: [nvda] NVDA and Chrome downloading

So with IE and Firefox there is a information bar that can be read with

Alt n to read the status of a download.  Is there such a feature in

Google Chrome?  Running latest NVDA on a Win 10 64 bit system.

Thanks
