I didn’t get a dialog asking if I wanted to close all tabs like I would in firefox.

Hi,

The true reason why Alt+F4 didn’t work here is because Edge has opened multiple tabs at once. If this happens, when one presses Alt+F4, one would be asked to close all tabs.

Depends on the system. F4 might be getting intercepted as something like screen brightness or the like… Something dealing with hardware, not software. That’s why I said if you have an FN key, try holding that down. Does alt+F4 normally work in other applications for you? If so, then my suggestion won’t be correct.

Try alt+FN+F4. Your F4 key might be getting intercepted as a hardware key and not a software key. I've had that happen on occasions with certain systems.

I've just played with it a bit, but was always able to close it with alt f4 just like any other program.
