Do you mean pop up descriptions?
If so, you can disable this by going to nvda settings > object presentation > read pop up descriptions
Check it on or off see if that helps you any

i deactivating all things in document formatting except clickable and i am very comfortable reading my books and sites! but the only problem are the links with discription and i wish that hear the discription when i navigate by link.
