To get NVDA to speak on the log-in screen, you need to have a user accounttoggle quoted messageShow quoted text
with administrator priviliges then open the the NVDA menu with NVDA+n, press
p for preferences, then g for General. Tab down to 'Use NVDA on log-in
screen'. And check it. Each user has it's own profile, ensure
'automatically start NVDA when I long-on to Windows' is also checked for
each user account you use. This will ensure NVDA will always be available.

Dear List, this is probably a stupid question. If I have NVDA installed on
a machine and set to start after login with that user. If i then sign out
and sign in as a different user how do I get NVDA going within that user.
Does the control alt n hot key work.
