Yes I did post this on here about a week back actually. the snag is they are overwritten when you update the version of nvda. I seem to recall an add on that allowed one to alter them though.

Ah, Found them. They're inside the folder called waves, inside the NVDA folder in program files.
For 64 bit operating systems:
C:\Program Files (x86)\NVDA\waves
For 32-bit operating systems:
C:\Program Files\NVDA\waves
There are 8 wav files inside, so nothing is hidden inside of another container.

This perhaps may be a stupid question, and no, I am not thinking of modifying them in any way, but more am just curious as a FYI purpose.
 
Where are the wave files used by NVDA for the things like the ascending tone when you start NVDA, and the descending tone when you quit NVDA, and such?
