at Pacific training centre for the blind, I work with clients who do have iPads and iPhones. The iPad and iPhone accomplish the same goal. That is, the same gestures with Voiceover works, sending emails works, etc. Where its different is in the size of the iPad, and also the iPad does not have a phone in it.
