Hello list,

Please respond to me directly on this thread so that we keep the list clear for its real purpose.

That said, I would like to ask for help from any list members currently living in Germany.

I am about to start a language class in Freiburg with the hopes of eventually moving to Germany for a masters program in fall of 2018.

For now, my German is very basic and it seems that all information on blindness and disabilities in Germany is available only in German. I am hesitant to write organizations in English if they have not yet translated their websites and so am struggling a bit on learning what it is like to be blind in Germany.

Would anyone be willing to help me answer questions as they come up?
