With rc1 i downloaded the full installer but with rc2 and rc3 i forced a check for updates on those occasions And updated from there

The only other thing I can think of is, did you all allow an auto prompt of an update take place or did you go in to the menu and force a poll of the site?
That way around you had to have had an nvda menu option opened when the update occurred. Brian
