for most people it would be a international call.

 

Unless they are using voip. the ones they sell at the telecommunications companies along with your line are not so bad these days if you have to do it.

 

Over here if i use say net phone or some thing like that i can call to a aussie phone number for 10 cents for the whole call or was it 12 cents. I use 2 companies like them for rates far cheaper than the telecommunication companies.

 

I have also helped people through skype if they have it or over the phone here in new zealand. I get free land line national calls for up to 1 hour for nothing.

 

then as long as i hang up i can call again for free..

 

but in her case it would be the school who pay the bills for that.
