Speech Viewer is not a plug-in, it’s a switchable feature built into NVDA itself and Marshall explained how to access it. ‘Plug-ins’ is not the term generally used for the additional features available to NVDA users, ‘Add-ons’ being the preferred term. Good luck with your project and just to give you a heads-up, a great many disabled people will find the use of the word ‘handicap’ when referring to them extremely offensive. If you had put ‘trying to make our software and support documents as accessible as possible’, no one would be offended.
