ClanWin does indeed run under (to quote from their website
http://www.clamwin.com ): "Microsoft Windows 10 / 8 / 7 / Vista / XP / Me /
2000 / 98 and Windows Server 2012, 2008 and 2003".

However (also quoting from their website): "Please note that ClamWin Free
Antivirus does not include an on-access real-time scanner. You need to
manually scan a file in order to detect a virus or spyware."

This in my opinion makes it rather less useful than many other anti-virus
scanners, however if your choice is limited to whatever will still run under
XP, then maybe it's a good enough compromise.
