Hi,

Phoner is a SIP client.
You need an account from a SIP provider.
iptel.org for example provides such accounts for free at least if they still do.
though if you are looking something like skype well then you might look somewhere different.
btw SIP clients have no online/offline lists.
its a software phone.


though i guess you are looking for a voice chat tool.

there are some like ventrillo or other solutions like teamspeak/teamtalk.

Yes phoner works fine.
I always used the standard version instead of lite though both should be
fine.
