Dear Windows 10 users, screen reader developers, Microsoft staff, third-party app developers, Windows Insiders and others,

 

You’re cordially invited to participate in an audio talk by Joseph Lee on Windows 10, to be held on Accessible World Pat Price Tek Talk room on Monday, March 26, 2018 at 5 PM Pacific. In this talk, Joseph will talk about recent changes to Windows 10 ecosystem, demonstrate key features included in Version 1803 (Spring Creators Update), and showcase a mystery feature from a future version of Windows 10, all using screen readers.

 

Topics to be covered include:

 

  • Recent happenings on Windows 10, including introduction of S and Pro for Workstations, Microsoft Store, mixed reality.
  • Key features from Windows 10 Version 1709, including emoji entry, My People, Narrator changes and more.
  • Highlights from Version 1803, including Timeline, Focus Assist, and other changes.
  • A mystery feature from a future version of Windows 10 (you need to be there to listen to/see the demo).
  • Screen reader compatibility notices and future plans.
