You don't need an IDE to code in Python, all you need is to have Python installed and a text editor. Can be as simple as Notepad, but Notepad++ will work too, but the syntax highlighting has no usefullness to us. You can test your code using the python interpreter. When you installed Python, you should have checked the box that said add python to path, if you did, you can run it from cmd or just from the run dialog by typing python. If not, you will have to do this yourself.
