Yes. I've used lilypond. But it is hard to work with and half the time my code errors out and hre's no simply way to check to see if I have midi with otu complex codde, or at least that was the way it was a while ago. Ihave not used the snap shots, that was all in the stable version, but yeah that's how I passed my writing for orchestra class

Wow this is great news. There's another way of creating scores which I found, called Lilypond. You type your score in a textual language, kind of like LaTeX, and it comes out looking professional. You can also get a midi so you can check what you wrote.

Eya I remember it said that as well. I hope the new ersions of  nvda will work better with the app. This is actually very exciting.

The tutorial was updated a year ago. They are still using a very old version of NVDA. I believe they reference 2016.1.

Oh I agree. Now let's hope those sema changes come to mac as I might not always be around my windows machine to finish my master piece.

The tutorial linked in the first message of this thread says it was
created and updated one year ago.
The link added in message 7 of this thread describing updates to the
pallet controls was written 7 months ago.
And, though I haven't tried it, it looks like the developer has solved
the key signature problem.

I don't know if and or when I'll ever get around to trying this, but
it's really exciting to know that it's there if and or when I want to.

I meant to post this URL yesterday. Muse Score is a music composing program
from what I’ve been told and yes it works with NVDA. Thanks to Jason
Castinguay and Joe Steinkamp on Twitter for posting this NVDA tutorial.
