My update interval in days is seven.  The channel is set to stable.  Truth be told, I really never concerned myself with the interval or channel.

The item to check for updates is indeed checked  Sometimes the feature works and sometimes it doesn’t.

Hi,

Is the add-on told not to check for updates? To check that, go to NVDA Menu/Preferences/Windows 10 App Essentials and see if the update checkbox is checked.

In the e-mail, it is indicated that you don’t have to click on the links above to update the add-ons.  The only add-on I use is Windows 10 App Essentials.  But when I highlight the Nvda shortcut to launch Nvda, the program opens but the add-on is not displayed so I can answer yes that I wish to download the add-on.  Why won’t the automatic detection feature work?  Thank you.
