There is a tool made by Babbage called Babbage table browser.

With that tool you can hide columns and do much more.

Betreff: [nvda] Hiding columns in a data grid #addonrelease #addonrelease

I have an in-house application that uses data grids, somewhat like Microsoft Access. I can move around the grid with the arrow keys, going between both fields and records.
To hide columns, one must drag a column outside of the grid. Is there a way to do this with NVDA?
I know how to use object nav and how to move the mouse and click on the navigator object.  But I'm not sure how to actually pull a column to a blank area away from the grid. And I have to do it with the left mouse button locked. Ideas?
