This did come up some time back and as I recall the new version is a very big file and totally different to the current one in nvda, and was thought a bit over the top considering the paid for ocrs out there at reasonable costs, if this has changed then I may have missed it.
Of course it could be that somebody could implement the windows ocr in a third party app, but I've never seen this done, so may well be exclusive to Microsoft. Certainly, on the I phone I believes its used in the Microsoft Seeing AI ap.
