I agree that find is the best way to position yourself to where you need to go on a complex page. The JAWS touch cursor defaults to being a 2-dimensional sort of replacement for the JAWS cursor because Windows no longer lets applications freely move the mouse. So if you don't have a touchscreen you can simulate its behavior with the keyboard.
But it has an advanced mode for the touch cursor that lets you move through the three-dimensional object model, just like Cobra or NVDA. It is looking at the model through UI automation.
