Oh, thank you so much. My version is 2018.1.
Just a while ago I got a notice to update but don’t know what version that
was as I told it to wait until later to notify me again.
OK, I checked the updates available and it is the point 2 one. I guess I
will be daring and press the enter button. Thanks

I think you should be able to go to the "check for updates" and you'll find out if you canupdate your version of NVDA. If not, you'll have to do it through the nv access site which is nvaccess.org.
To find out what version of NVDA you're running, hit the insert key and N to go to the menu. Then arrow down to the help menu and open it with the right arrow. Arrow down to "about" and hit enter on it. You'll hear whart version you're running.
