If you check Settings, Update & Security, Windows Update Pane, View Update History link, then look under the Quality Updates section. Each and every update listed has its KB number in parentheses and, if it failed to install, will have the line Failed to install on date - error code.
It is much easier to find a solution if you use a web search engine and give just two search parameters: the KB number and the error code. Most error codes can be triggered for a wide variety of reasons, and that's even true sometimes for a single KB update.
