Hi Glenn,

Here, on Windows 10 with NVDA and a Linux machine via SSH, I can scroll and read the outgoing messages on my braille display. In some cases, you could also use the virtual buffer add-on. For instance, you can toggle the window and read the screen line by line with the arrow keys.
