This is an updated version of the accessible
video editor. I have not tried VD 2 yet because the developer is
sighted, which always makes me skiddish on accessibility, but
the homepage is below. Good thing is, it's open source, so if
anybody wants to add onto it and otherwise, it's yours for the
playing.
