Hi Group,

I am running Windows 10 version 18.09 and I also can see the Dropbox tray icon and can read basic things as status and updated.

Hi!
It's interesting that you have this acdcessibility problem with Dropbox,
Brian, as I am still on Windows 7 here, and I can still read the Dropbox
preferences, keep track of uploads and downloads in the system tray, and I
still get help balloons to tell me a download has finished: I don't get told
that an upload is finished, but I know it has when the Dropbox icon in the
system tray includes the words "up to date".
Since you can't read the preferences yourself, I think you should get
sighted help to go through the dialogues there to see if changing some of
the settings will bring more accessibility back for you. I hope this helps!
Bye for now!

Subject: [nvda] Dropbox and nvda again

Hi I'm not quite sure when this started to occur, but somewhere along the
line Dropbox does not seem to push out any kind of alert when files are
coming in or indeed indicate when they are being uploaded on the tray icon.
Are these preferenc choices which have been changed recently from the
default of on it used to have? Obviously since I cannot use the preferences
box, the share dialogue or other similar windows on windows 7 it seems, I
cannot check but if it can be toggled on again, then I'll get a sighted
person in to do it.
Its rather irritating as it seems the person using it at our studio does
not know when its completed uploading and I do not know when its stopped
coming in at my end.
