I don't remember if it was Jarte support or Window eyessupport that told me I had to copy enable screen reader mode to the clipboard, then launch Jarte. Haven't had a problem since. Maybe this problem has been resolved during the past few years.

I too had the problem of my screen reader not working in Jarte until I
