Re: using nvda to cancel Kindle magazine subscriptions

I agree on both counts, Mary...if not read it, some kind of audible alert would be very handy.

Glad it worked out for you, though.

Thank you, Richard. That did the trick. Intuitive it is not, but it is nice to be able to do this without having to ask my sighted husband.
It'd be cool if focus could be placed on that confirmation box after you press the cancel button.

I haven't done this for a while but, from memory, I think that when you hit enter on that element, a confirmation box appears at the bottom of the screen.

Good luck!

I wonder if anybody can give me some advice as to the exact steps to follow in order to use the Amazon website to cancel Kindle magazine subscriptions.I can get to the "manage content and devices" section as instructed. I even managed to get the site to show my magazine subscriptions, something I was not successful at doing using my iPhone.

Once you have the subscriptions showing, there is an "actions" button to the left of each subscription. You are suppose to click on that to reveal choices, such as changing payment method or canceling the subscription. I can find the cancel subscription, but it does not activate when you press enter on it. I can also find it with object navigation, then press the numpad key for left click, also to no avail.
What am I missing here?

Mary
