Re: Microsoft Chromium version of the Edge browser beta download

So if its a repackaged Chromium, does this in fact mean windows 7 and 8 users can also use it? It would seem a little daft if not.

Hi,

I advise waiting until beta version comes out to do a tutorial on it, and when you do one, don’t forget to remind people that this is really a repackaged Chromium.

Cheers,

Joseph

Hi

if any one is interested later on today i can do a audio recording of nvda been used on it and to show nvda so far seems to be working nicely with it. Plus also link to it for others to try it out if they missed the first link.

It will give some a idea of what it looks like etc planning to do some updates tonight to the website so can include or link to the recording in the email.

Hi

Just downloaded it and taking it for a test drive.

Apart from the word dev in the title bar and using the chrome menu setup for the menus it handles the web pages nicely it seems as though you can use all of the quick navigation keys in nvda. A bit more playing around and going into the settings etc but you would think you are driving chrome browser.

See if i can find any qwerks in it.
